Nowadays, many people move to big cities from rural areas. The main reason why people come to live in towns and cities is work. Big businesses and big medical centers are concentrated in big cities. There are a lot of facilities for urban people such as sports centers, theatres, universities, restaurants, night-clubs, heath centers, department stores. It is easier to find a work in a city. There is a choice of public transport, so it isn’t necessary to own a car. But the job must be well-paid, to afford these facilities. Living in a city is very expensive.          I’ve found you a one-room flat. There are all conveniences: central heating, electricity, a lift, a telephone, running cold and hot water.

         It’s located in the town center. It faces the central street. A sports center, two schools, the university, three cafes, a department store, a bus stop, a chemist’s are at hand.

    It’s a common truth. Very often we meet people whose character and appearance differ radically. I think we shouldn’t judge a person by appearance.

        In general, a lot of people tend to decide whether a person is good or not just by his appearance. If we do so we can’t notice that the person is wonderful.

         I think that every job is important and necessary. The standards of the ideal job are different from one person to another. The qualities of the ideal job rely much on how it fits with the person’s interests, work conditions, expected incomes.          My friend is of medium height and build. He has short dark hair. He wears practical clothes most of the time. He has oval face with fresh complexion.

         He has confident and attractive personality. He is cheerful and tells jokes. He makes me laugh a lot. He is interested in everything and has an excellent general knowledge, but he is rather impulsive and loses his temper very easily. I like him because he can plan things well and doesn’t waste his time. He is the kind of person who you like at first sight.  

          I live in a nuclear family. My family isn’t big. I’m an only child in the family.

         Living in a nuclear family has some advantages and disadvantages. The main advantage is that nobody interferes the way the way the family runs the house. Sometimes it’s very annoying and may lead to conflicts. There can’t be two housewives in one kitchen. I have a room, and it’s my private space.

         But the disadvantage is that the parents have less free time.
